2月 13, 2019 Commented Hi, on my side, I just gave up trying to build the toolchain because for each issue fixed many more showed up. However my Debian x64 system was able to take the pre-build toolchain for x32. Just executed the .run installer. I haven't had any problems using the toolchain since then. I'm sorry for been unable to provide more help but since that solved my problem and I was in the rush to complete my project I didn't dig in more.

7月 18, 2018 Commented Hello, First, thanks for your prompt response and I commend your proactivity to go further and give me something to review and work on. I resolved the issue now in this way: I started by checking the PSW register behaviour and found that, after the handler returns, it was completely incorrect: It retained the supervisor mode, wrong stack pointer, 'I' was not set and the interrupt level changed to 5. So, the handler function was not returning "as from an interrupt" but as a regular function. I printed the assembly code and confirmed it: the PSW wasn't restored and no RTFI was issued. So, the compiler didn't know the handler was actually an "interrupt". In the gcc -renesas sample code provided with the compiler downloaded from your website they declare interrupts as: void INT_Excep_IRQ7(void) __attribute__((interrupt)); and define it as: void INT_Excep_IRQ7(void){....} I changed both to: void __attribute__ ((interrupt)) INT_Excep_IRQ7(void) This simple change resolves the problem. The PSW is now properly restored and everything is ok. Thanks again for your support.
