Hello Ly Dang, There are no limitations for using the -mcpu=v2 option with RX66T. Due to an unfortunate omission in the compiler, the RXv2 instructions are disabled when using RXv3, the next GCC for Renesas RX toolchain release will contain a fix for this issue. __ Best regards, The GNU Tools Team

Hello Frank, Thank you for reaching out to us! Unfortunately, fixed-point types are not supported by our GNURX toolchain. Also, for the near future, we do not have such a feature as part of our development roadmap. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please let us know if there's anything else that we can help with. __ Best regards, The GNU Tools Team

Hello, Thank you for reaching out to us! Based on the information you provided, we have managed to reproduce the problem. Our development team is analyzing the issue, after which a fix will be considered for a future release of GCC for Renesas RX Toolchain. Until then, please use -fno-peephole2 as a workaround. Hello Peter, Thank you for reporting this issue to us! We are fully aware of the problem, we disabled the align attribute on -Os starting with the 2017q3 release of the toolchain. A possible workaround would be changing the optimization level for that file. In e2studio 5.4 you can do this by right-clicking on the file → Properties → Compiler → Object → Optimization level In e2studio 6.0 you can do this by right-clicking on the file → Properties → C/C++ Build → Settings → Compiler → Source → User defined compiler options. We are working on resolving this issue in one of our future releases. Please check regularly on our support platform at https://gcc-renesas.com to find out when this issue will be resolved. If you signed up to receive targeted emails about Renesas products when creating your account, you will also receive a newsletter whenever new releases are available. Should you have any more questions, please feel free to let us know. – Thank you, The GNU Tools Team

Hello, Please use the -I compiler option to specify the location of the optlib include files, as in: -I"\rx-elf\rx-elf/rx-elf/optlibinc" Regarding the issue with the option above, please right click on the project and select: Renesas Tool Settings-> C/C++ Build-> Settings-> Library Generator-> Settings-> Select library (newlib/optimized). Please let us know if this answers the question. -- Thank you, Erika Molnar The GNU Tools Support Team

Hello Olivier, Thank you for you patience. Could you please send us the link to the website you are talking about? Regarding the problem about the MSB executables, we need more information to proceed forward: if possible, please attach a build log, or maybe a sample project demonstrating your issue. The compiler doesn't generate multiple threads because all the toolchains that we build are delivered as "bare metal" (no specific OS support). Potentially, you could try building the SH toolchain v13.01 for Linux, and see if that resolves the issue. Should you need any further help, please let us know. -- Thank you, Erika Molnar The GNU Tools Support Team
